Frantic Friday!

Oh my, what a day this has been!!! It started out like any other day and all was going well until............the afternoon!

Well, I needed to stop by Julie's school to pick up Julie and drop off some money for her book order, well, I stopped.......and when we got back out to the truck, I looked at it, and it was leaning toward the other side.....YUP, you guessed it, a FLAT tire! Uuuugggghhhhhh!!!!! It just HAD to happen today, TODAY of all days! Tonite was Julie's program at church and then when daddy came home, he couldn't go to her program cuz he had to fix the truck.

Well, Julie did wonderful at her program tonite, sang all of her songs, new all the motions, and was singing "Jesus is the Rock and He rolled my blues away" all the way home! It was sooooo cute! She was a little off key, but it sounded perfect to me!! I will post some pics later.

New things!

This is a new day and with a new day comes new things! Well, we got a new exer-saucer/bouncer seat toy for Rachel yesterday, but didn't get it put together til today..........it quite a feat to put it together, but alas, it's finished!! (and safe too! All the screws are in! LOL!) Anyhow........she loves to be in it now and play with the different little toys that are on it. She looked in wonder at it all when I first put her in it today......it was so much fun to watch her! Here are some pics!

Rachel also is finally mastering how to sit by herself, and is starting to stand....well, on her knees that is!! With a little help from the couch! Here are a couple more pictures!

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

Yesterday was such a fun day, especially after Julie came home from school. First we did her homework and her reading and got it out of the way.......that's always the first thing to do, after snack that is, lol! Anyways, we had a fun time doing a St. Patrick's day photo shoot.........I think both of the girls had fun with it! We got some very crazy wacky photos and also some really cute ones too, all in all, mommy was very pleased with the outcome!

For dinner tonite, no corned beef and cabbage for us, we did beef stew and biscuits! It sure tasted yummy!! Then daddy and the girls had fun playing while mommy uploaded the pictures to her computer. Daddy and Julie then went downstairs to play some games down there and I got to watch The Biggest Loser! I am sooooo addicted to that show, I just love it.....now I need to get the motivation and willpower like THEY ALL have and do the same thing! One of these days I am sure it'll hit me like a ton of bricks!

Daddy finally put Julie to bed, Rachel had fallen asleep a little earlier, and it was a great day for all of us! Here are some pics of our little photo shoot today!

Spring WAS in the air!

Now it's snowing again.....aaarrrgggghhhhhh!!!!!! Sometimes I think that Spring won't EVER get here!! LOL!! Snow, snow, and more snow.....that's Northern Chautauqua county for you!! Yucky! Anyhow...........

Today I am going to try and scrapbook a little bit, we'll see how far I actually get and how long baby Rachel stays asleep, lol!! If I get some stuff done, I will be sure to post it!

Spring is in the air.........

and I have the spring cleaning bug!!! Yep, I have started my spring cleaning already!! I still have lots of stuff to throw away, stuff to organize, and stuff that needs a place to be stored! It'll get there I'm sure, hopefully THIS will be the spring that everything gets done! I so need to get a few more totes or boxes to put away old clothes that don't fit all of us anymore....or maybe a better idea would be to give them to the Salvation Army store, then I wouldn't have to worry about storing them somewhere! hmmmmmm.......... I'd also like to get a small freezer for downstairs in the basement, a two door cabinet for in the kitchen or downstairs to keep extra canned goods in, some new curtains, some new flooring in the kitchen, new draperies in the living room.......oh man, I could go on and on and on........but, you get the idea!

Well, last night daddy finally was able to get the hardware he needed to put together Julie's old crib for Rachel!! Yay, now Rachel has a REAL bed to sleep in, and not just the pack-n-play or her bassinette! LOL!! Wow, she got a new highchair and a new bed (well, new to her)all within a couple of days.....I am sooo impressed, aren't you?!

Today turned out to be a pretty sunny day......maybe that's why it seems like spring out.......the sun is melting alot of the snow too! Yay! I cannot WAIT for this winter to be over with!

New High Chair for Baby!

Yay, baby has a new high chair, now Rachel can join us at the table for meals! Although she won't quite be eating the food we eat yet, she will still be stuck with her baby food, but, she can now be an active part of the family at the dinner table! WooooHooooooo!!


She really loves having her own chair now too!! Big sister can help feed her as well, both girls love that!! Rachel is now eating sweet potatoes, butternut squash, pears, applesauce, and is now trying green beans......those aren't going over too well though, lol, but we'll keep trying them for a few days!

Baby is mobile!!

Well, it's been awhile since I last blogged, but with good reason! lol! I have been playing with my girls and my little baby who is now almost 7 months old is crawling!! Yay!! She started a couple of days ago! She also ate some stage 1 sweet potatoes a couple of days ago and seemed to LOVE them! lol! Not too fond of applesauce, but is eating it anyhow!

I have also been reconnecting with alot of people from my past on Facebook, it's been alot of fun! It really is amazing at how many people are on there!

It sure is a beautiful day outside today, but sure is cold!!! I sooooooo can't wait til Spring! Isn't it supposed to be right around the corner? It can come anyday it wants to! Well, that's about all for today!
