The "Eve" of February and all is well.......

I cannot believe that January flew by soooooo fast! Where did it go? Did you see it?? I know I didn't!! Well, I am hoping that February slows down just a little bit, even though I am not too fond of the cold and snow, I still love spending time with my family and treasuring every moment! I hope I get some great photos for this next month because I am TRYING to work on this thing called Project 12....it's where I scrapbook things that happen each month and document them, then I can put them together in their own album......it'll be cool to go thru it at the end of the year and see what we did and how we've changed! Anyhow, I hope that I keep on top of this!

Yesterday I got to spend some time scrapping!! Hubby let me go to a crop, so I got a few pages done! Yay!!







Tomorrow is the day that I start as the Guest Designer at From Here 2 Scrapternity , it's a great place to be! Happy News today!

I just got news that I have been chosen as the Feb. 2010 Guest Designer at From Here 2 Scrapternity........I am soooooooooooooo excited, I cannot wait to get started! I am just over joyed! From Here 2 Scrapternity is a wonderful scrapbook message board to be on........lots of wonderful people and many inspirational layouts, and awesome crops just about every month! Today was also a very exciting day for my oldest daughter........her top front tooth fell out at school on her way to her first grade art class. She said it fell right out and onto the floor......I was surprised that she found it! LOL! It was sent home in an envelope for her to show the tooth fairy tonite!

The baby is finally feeling better too......she's had pneumonia for the past few days. I took her to the doctor monday and the doc said she was getting better, but now she has an ear infection, so we had to switch antibiotics....thank goodness for the wonderful pediatrician we have!! He's the bestest!

Well, had kind of a slow uneventful day today..........just the good 'ol household chores and such......what a great life! lol!! Played with baby Rachel for awhile today, and bejeweled blitz on Facebook........then, when Julie came home we worked on her homework......wow, can't believe what they are teaching 1st graders now! She's already learning about coins, and what are the fewest coins to make a certain amount, and how to write dollars and cents and all that.....I don't think I learned that til maybe at least 3rd grade or 4th?! I don't know, I can't really remember back THAT far, lol!! This stuff is pretty tough for a 1st grader to handle, at least I think it is.......but thank goodness, I think Julie is grasping it! Well, we'll see what tomorrow holds! lol!

Now we are sitting here watching Knight Rider reruns, and just relaxing having some family time.........well, I suppose I better get dd Julie ready for bed and stories read to her.......til next time!

Wow, I can't believe we are in a new year already, and 2010 nonetheless! I hope this will be a great year for everybody! God bless you all!!

Well, Julie and I spent New Year's eve at church.....she had fun on the inflatables! They clear out the sanctuary and fill it with bouncy goodness! The kids have a blast! I will post some pics later, due to my computer not working right! lol!! Mark volunteered to be a chaperone for the teen overnighter at church on New Year's.......Julie, Rachel, and I were in bed by 9pm! I know, we are party poopers! lol!! Oh well, we needed the rest!

On to scrapbooking......there will be a January cyber crop at From Here 2 Scrapternity on the 15th - 17th.......I promise it will be a blast! Please stop by and check it out! Lots of fun challenges and lots of fabulous prizes also!
