New Design Team at Sassy Lil' Sketches Announced!!!

Design Team Announcement!
We are so excited to announce our new Sassies, but before we do we would like to just let in on a few of the changes you will be seeing on both Sassy Lil' Sketches blogs. Starting in August, we will be revealing new Sassy Lil' Sketches on Tuesdays and Sassy Lil' Card Sketches on Thursday. "Switch it Up" Saturday will premiere on Sassy Lil' Sketches in August, too!


A few of our Sassies are not returning this coming term.
We will definitely miss their talent, but wish them the best!

Tonsil and Adenoid Surgery

Well, this past Friday, July 15, my oldest daughter Julie had her tonsils and adenoids out.........boy has it been quiet around here! She is 8 years old and is usually running around and yelling and just being your regular happy go lucky kid! It's kind of strange seeing her so mellow and quiet, it's almost like she's not even here! I know she's probably just not feeling up to par. She's drinking lots of water and ice pops.....just started some pudding today.....hopefully I'll get a pic on here soon of her at the hospital after she came out of surgery....asleep. Well, that's about it for now.....take care and God bless!

We are looking for a few talented layout and card designers for Sassy Lil' Sketches and Sassy Lil' Card Sketches.

How to apply for our August '11 to January '12 Sassy Team
Please send an e-mail to sassylilsketches@gmail.com with the following information
by JULY 7th:
1) specify LAYOUT or CARD DT in e-mail subject line
2) your full name
3) your email address
4) your blog address (or online gallery if you do not have a blog)
5) a short bio
6) one layout or card (depending on which team in which you are applying) based
on any Sassy Lil' Sketch/Sassy Lil' Card Sketch on our blogs. Please include the date of the sketch you used.
7) one layout or card (depending on the team in which you are applying) that showcases your individual style.

We welcome international applicants.

Sassy Lil' Sketches expectations:
1) Layout Sassies: Create one layout a month based on a Sassy Lil' Sketch.
Card Sassies: Create two cards a month based on
Sassy Lil' Card Sketches.
2) Share your monthly Sassy Lil' Sketch creation(s) on your blog and any online galleries which will allow you to do so.
3) Join our Sassy Lil' Sketches Forum. While active participation is not a requirement, it is encouraged. The forum is how we will communicate with our Sassy DT.

Ok guys, here is the amazing sketch we had to work with for our June 21 Reveal!!
Isn't it AMAZING!! Thanks to our lovely Cherie who designed it!


I turned it on it's side.......this sketch was soooooo PERFECT for the softball pics that I just took of my daughter Julie and her softball team, the Cassadaga Pink Guppies!! Pump it up Pink Guppies!! Yeah!!

June already?!!!

Here is a picture of my two girls.....boy, are they growing fast or what??!!
Wow, I can't believe that it's June already! Where does time go?? Julie will be out of school here pretty soon......I can't believe that she's going to be done with 2nd grade........I'm going to have a 3rd grader on my hands....amazing!!! Julie will be 8 at the end of this month and Rachel is going to be 3 in August! They are growing soooooo fast! I hope also that June is filled with many sunny and warm days to make up for the cold spring we had!
